B.C. Junior Siamese Championship

Christmas Party

 

Date: Sunday, December 9, 2001

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Location: Vancouver Bridge Centre (2776 East Broadway at Kaslo St.)

Registration: 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

Entry fee: $7 per tournament; $10 for both tournaments; party free.

Eligibility: These are open events.  Juniors of all levels are welcome.  Trophies will be awarded by age group as set out below.

 

B.C. Junior Speed Championship

Duration: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Time control: Game in five-minutes

Format: Based on number of entrants

Prizes: Trophies: Overall winner, ages 0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16.  Winners' names to go on huge perpetual trophy.

 

B.C. Junior Siamese Championship

Duration: 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Time control: One minute with two second increments

Format: Based on number of entrants

Partners: Players enter as individuals, and are assigned different partners each round. No partner is needed to enter.

Prizes: Trophies: Overall winner, ages 0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16.  Winners' names to go on huge perpetual trophy.

 

Party

Duration: All day.  Food and drinks provided.

 

Equipment

Sets and some clocks provided.  Bring digital clocks if possible.
